Who we are
Nordica Delivery is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé). Questions about this policy or your data: mallory.berthome@gmail.com.
What the app stores
- Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin.
- Your delivery areas, their days and times, and your pickup places, with your settings and your plan.
- Bookings: for each order with a delivery or pickup time, its order number, the day and time, the zone or pickup location, the delivery postcode and the number of items. No names, emails, phone numbers or street addresses. Bookings are deleted 90 days after their date.
- Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and the email address if you add one.
- Technical error reports: your store’s address, the page and the error, so problems can be fixed.
What the app changes in your store
It creates shipping rates for your zones in your general shipping profile, turns on two checkout rules (a delivery customization and a cart validation) and saves its settings in app metafields that your theme’s blocks read. It never changes products, customers, prices or theme files, and only reads orders to count bookings.
Your shoppers
The postcode a shopper types in the delivery check stays in their browser (local storage) so the cart can reuse it; it’s never sent to us. The day and time they pick are saved on their cart and order by Shopify. The checkout rules run inside Shopify. From each new order Shopify sends us only the order number, the cart’s delivery attributes, the shipping postcode and the item quantities.
Who processes the data
Cloudflare hosts the app and the databases. Postal codes are © GeoNames; the admin’s map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors (Protomaps). Shopify provides the store data and handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
How long it is kept
Bookings are deleted 90 days after their date, and at once when Shopify asks for a customer’s data to be erased. When you uninstall the app, your sign-in data is deleted at once; your zones and schedules are kept until Shopify asks for them to be erased, 48 hours after uninstalling, so a quick reinstall gets them back.
Your rights
